4p18 Self Assessment This rubric is designed to evaluate a student's belief in their overall performance in the class.
	Poor A poor job of following the criteria. 1 pts	Fair The category needs work. 2 pts	Good Student successfully follows criteria. 3 pts	Excellent Student covers the criteria in an exceptional manner. 4 pts
Attendence & Participation The student actively attends lecture and also listens and participates when possible in class.	Poor No attempt is made at attending class.	Fair Attendance is semi regular, however there is no interest or participation being shown in class.	Good Attendance is constant, and the student actively listens and participates when asked.	Excellent Attendance is constant and the student actively listens and goes above and beyond typical participation.
Effort into assignments Student is aware of the due dates of the assignments and puts effort into completing them.	Poor Assignments aren't completed	Fair Student finishes assignments night before or after the due date and puts little effort into them.	Good Student starts assignments prior to due date and finishes them by the due date, putting in an acceptable amount of effort.	Excellent Student understands, starts and finishes the assignment with significant effort before the due date.
Readings Student reads and understands the readings.	Poor No readings accomplished.	Fair Skims over readings before class.	Good Reads some readings.	Excellent Completes all the readings.
Value Student finds class to be valuable.	Poor Student finds class to be useless.	Fair Student finds class to be redundant.	Good Student finds value in the class.	Excellent Student searches for value and how he can use it for future pedagogical success.
