Assignments aren't completed

Student finishes assignments night before or after the due date and puts little effort into them.
Good

Student starts assignments prior to due date and finishes them by the due date, putting in an acceptable amount of effort.
Excellent

Student understands, starts and finishes the assignment with significant effort before the due date.
Readings

Student reads and understands the readings.

No readings accomplished.
Fair

Skims over readings before class.
Good

Reads some readings.
