Chapter 11: Structures and properties of the hair and scalp 
Given the clay/ onion, cardboard and paper and using the information from Chapter 11, Properties of the hair and scalp: The students will construct a cross-section of the skin with hair follicle. Each part of the diagram must be labeled with the appropriate name and a description given of the name's function. The project will also include a description of each structure.
