Events, the settings, or the characters are boardering outside the realm of possiblity.	Excellent Believable, well rounded characters who develop and change, well constructed plots, well-described settings with internal consistency, a style appropriate to the story, and worthy themes. Events, the settings, or the characters are outside the realm of possiblity.
Narrative Style	Poor No persuasion. No handing down of the tale.	Good Author needs to work on persuasion. Not a strong tale handed down.	Excellent Authors persuades readers to believe in the strange, whimsical, or magical, yet has internal logic and consistency. Written by known authors, in which the tales are handed down through oral tradition and have no known author. Cycle format may be used to cover multiple volumes.
Literary Style	Poor No transition from realistic to fantasy. Not believable new fantasy.	Good Story does not transition fluently and leaves room for the reader to fully believe the fantasy.
