CONS 128 MTM - Teaching Project Presentation

This is a capstone project for an introduction to music education course. Students were to teach one student throughout the semester and then create a 4-5 minute presentation that shows evidence of student and teacher growth or lack thereof.

Good Key points, opinions, and student/teacher development are presented, but do not necessarily provide a thorough overview of the semester. Minor organization issues may be present.	Superior Key points, opinions, and student/teacher development are clearly presented in a highly organized overview of the semester.
Content	Poor The presentation lacks purpose and/or does not address the primary objective of the assignment. Questions and/or insights often do not relate to the central theme of the presentation. Omission of key material is evident.	Good The presentation includes some questions and insights that relate at times to student and/or teacher development. Some areas may have been omitted, such as where improvement is needed.	Superior The presentation includes numerous questions and insights that always thoughtfully relate to student and teacher development (or lack thereof) throughout the semester.
Delivery	Poor The narration or presenter speech reflects poor planning and/or lack of rehearsal. Key elements of the assignment are missing and/or a poorly communicated.	Good The narration or presenter speech reflects some planning and rehearsing. Some, but not all, of the key elements of the assignment are evident and clearly communicated.	Superior The narration or presenter speech reflects careful planning and rehearsing. Attention to all aspects of the assignment is evident and clearly communicated.
Technical Detail Video quality, audio quality, presenter voice, necessary materials, etc.	Poor Key aspects of the presentation have been mismanaged, causing the audience to struggle with fully understanding the information.	Good Most aspects of the presentation have been managed to allow the audience to fully understand the information.	Superior All aspects of the presentation have been carefully managed to allow the audience to fully understand the information.
