Concept Capturing A Style/ Artist: Van Gogh (Impressionism)	Excellent Work Painting has been made in a manner very consistent with the technique of Van Gogh using short, broken brushstrokes, and applied paint thickly where needed.	Meets Expectations Painting has been made in a style that is reasonably consistent with the technique of artist being studied.	Needs Improvement An attempt has been made to paint in the style of the artist being studied.	Unsatisfactory No attempt has been made to paint in the style of the artist being studied.
Creativity	Excellent Work Student created an image that is well considered and unique. Work is recognizable as a Van Gogh inspired piece. Image is detailed and goes above and beyond my expectations.	Meets Expectations Student created an image that is well considered and unique. Image is not too simple.	Needs Improvement Student created an image. The painting could have used more thought.
