Planning Brainstorm/Mind Map Sketch/Peer Discussion	Level 4 Student completed an Aboriginal sketch. Student put forth profound effort with a high degree of success in their sketch. Sketch is extremely detailed.	Level 3 Student completed an Aboriginal sketch. Student put forth considerable effort with some success in their sketch. Sketch has considerable detail.	Level 2 Student completed part of an Aboriginal sketch, but did not complete it. Student put forth some effort with some success in their sketch. Sketch has some detail.	Level 1 Student did not make any attempt to sketch ideas.
Symbol Creative/Original/ Aboriginal Theme/Design	Level 4 Student successfully incorporated a symbol that is unique and personally meaningful. The symbol is interesting and relates to the Aboriginal theme.	Level 3 Student incorporated an interesting Aboriginal symbol that is clearly related to an Aboriginal theme. Craftsmanship of Print Use/Control/Neatness/ Problem Solving	Level 4 Print edges are neat and clean, with no fingerprints. It is evident that a great deal of pride was taken in the creation of the print.	Level 3 Print edges are a bit messy, with some fingerprints. There is considerable evidence that pride was taken in the creation of the print.	Level 2 Print edges are often messy, with a number of fingerprints. There is limited evidence that pride was taken in the creation of the print.	Level 1 Print edges are messy, covered in fingerprints and smudges. There is virtually no evidence that the student had any personal investment in the print.
Effort Initiative/Problem Solving	Level 4 The student gave an effort far beyond the requirements of the project. Student was always on task.
