Plot structure 4 pts	Excellent Script has an indepth, complete, logical story with a beginning, middle and end.	Good Script is complete, logical story with a beginning, middle and end.	Fair Script is complete with a few rough spots; needs more length.	Poor Script is incomplete with major gaps; length is too short
Required elements 4 pts	Excellent The skit uses vocabulary from each chapter studied to date and it is properly applied in context. Each student has five lines minimum.	Good The skit uses vocabulary from each chapter studied to date. Some of the vocabulary is not properly used in context. Each student has five lines.	Fair Skit uses vocabulary from most but not all the chapters, and it is not properly used in context. Not all students have five lines.	Poor Skit is missing vocabulary from many chapters. Many students did not have five lines. Used a translator.

Presentation 4 pts	Excellent Skit was of high quality: Lines were memorized, speaking was easily heard and new vocabulary was visually introduced in the play for audience to see. Conversation flowed perfectly.	Good Skit was of good quality: Lines were memorized, speaking was audible and new vocabulary was visually introduced in the play for audience to see. Conversation flowed well and intonation was good.	Fair Skit was of acceptable quality: Not all lines were memorized, speaking was occasionally hard to hear and had pauses and laughter that caused it not to flow well.	Poor Skit was of poor quality. Most lines were not memorized. Speaking could not be heard & conversation had several pauses and was interrupted by laughter.
Rough/Final draft 4 pts	Excellent Rough draft was typed and turned in on time for correcting. Final draft reflected recommended changes.	Good Rough draft was neatly hand written but turned in on time for correcting. Final draft reflected recommended changes.	Fair Rough draft was hand written but turned in on time for correcting.
