Romero Britto Painting; 7th Grade Project 
Students will create an acrylic painting on masonite panel recreating the style of well known Pop artist Romero Britto. The painting must use a color harmony and have a theme that is split into shapes for its composition.

Craftsmanship

~outlined shapes and contours.
~neat application of painting (flat painting; not texture visible)

Level 1

*The student did not outline any of the shapes.
*The paint was applied really fast and a texture is visible.
*Messy application.

*The student attempted to outline the shapes, but some were not finished
*The paint was applied in a fast and sloppy manner.
*Composition is blurry because of craftsmanship.
