Essential Art Argument	Poor There is an attempt to describe why art is essential to the Renaissance. There is limited reasoning and it is less than one page in length.	Fair An attempt to describe the reasons why art is essential to the Renaissance is addressed but it is not thourough and does not contain examples to back up the arguement. Description of Artist Style	Poor Less than 2 paragraphs in length. Does not seem to understand what the author is supposed to be describing. Does not include information set out in the instructions.	Fair Is 2-3 paragraphs as required and attempts to address the information that is required in the instructions. May be missing one element. There may be some confusion around describing the artist's style but an honest attempt is made.	Good All information required is addressed. It is 2-3 paragraphs in length.
