Student is able to tell whether a number is greater than through oral language & written language. Also, the student is able to explain why a number is greater than another number.

Student understands the concept of greater than. However the student struggles with deciphering which number is greater than as well as being able to correctly angle the sign (<,>) towards the greater than number.
