Introduction/Ending	Excellent Has an interesting beginning that hooks the reader. Has detailed setting and problem (e.g., who, where, why what). Ending solves all the problems, in a satisfying way.	Good Has an somewhat interesting beginning. Most of setting, characters and problem are developed but could use more detail. Ending solves all the problems.	Almost Characters, setting and problem are present, but need more details.	Needs Work Characters, setting and problem are not developed/present.
Characters	Excellent Has well developed 'good guy' and 'bad guy' characters with other minor characters.	Good Easy to recognize the 'good guy' and 'bad guy' characters.	Almost Has only a recognizable 'good guy' or 'bad guy' character.	Needs Work Challenging to know which characters are good or bad.
Organization	Excellent Introduced the main character, the 'bad guy' and the problem with supporting details.
