Gowning/gloving Partner Use appropriate technique when dressing up the surgeon/pass the sterile towel over the surgeon hands/grasp the folded gown step away(nonsterile areas) and unfold it correctly/pull the gown over the elbows toward the shoulder/step back/pull the gown sleeve and leave the surgeon fingers out of the cuff/offer the right glove first/the palm (thumb) of the glove faces the surgeon/grasp the glove under the cuff/spread the opening with the thumbs held well away from the glove/keep sterility	Poor not observe	Fair developing	Good competent	Excellent accomplished
Instruments/suture/blade Students has control of passing instruments, blades and suture.
