Works Cooperatively	Advanced Can complete tasks with other students and teachers with a respectful, positive attitude. Will work well with everyone and is team oriented.	Proficient Is respectful and considerate of others. Will be able to work with almost anyone to complete tasks.	Fair Will work well with friends but may need help learning how to work cooperatively with others. Prefers to work alone.	Poor Has a difficult time working with others. Group work usually results in frustration or argument. Prefers to work alone.
Independent Thinking	Advanced Reads problems carefully, thinks of how to solve it. If stuck, will use resources available (text book, internet) before asking for help.	Proficient Reads problems carefully and will think of a plan before starting to solve. Doesn't like to ask for help until trying it on own.	Fair Frequently misreads/ misunderstands problems. Starts problems right away without making a plan. Often needs help to figure out what to do next.	Poor Generally waits for the teacher or another student to start the thought process. Can do the problem but never shows work. Work is messy is often difficult to read or understand.
Work Ethic	Advanced Consistently ready to work without a need to be reminded.	Proficient Is seated with supplies handy and ready to work when told.	Fair Sometimes forgets supplies/assignments. Needs to be reminded to be ready to work.	Poor Needs someone else to keep track of supplies and assignments to be successful.
Reading Level	Advanced Reads and comprehends on the grade level being accelerated to. Reads at a higher level independently and can comprehend more complex text.
