General Classwork and Homework Rubric

This is the rubric that will be used to grade most classwork and homework. Objective: For each assignment given you will follow all class directions, both orally and written. You will turn in your assignment ON TIME with its proper heading if you desire full credit. Homework and class work are assigned and checked to assist you in developing a skill.

Writing Quality	Yes, but... Less than 70% of writing is in clear complete sentences. There are multiple spelling and grammar errors. Assignment seems to have been completed in a rush or with little care.	Yes! Greater than 70%, but less than 80% of writing is in clear complete sentences. There are many spelling or grammar errors. Assignment competently completed with appropriate effort.	Wow! Greater than 80%, but less than 95% of writing is in clear complete sentences. There are a few spelling or grammar errors. Assignment completed with obvious time and care.	Excellent! Greater than 95% of responses are in clear complete sentences. There are no spelling or grammar errors.
