What do you want to learn more about? Project Mixed Media

Student's had a an independent project based on a topic they wanted to explore. Students had to create a composition that was able to express their interest. Students will be graded on over all how they expressed their interest, composition, class spent in and out of the classroom, progress in their skill/design level, their critique and blog journal.

They should be growing in both design and painting skill level as well as having the ability to have a message in their artwork. Composition 20 pts The composition fills the space of the paper. Colors work well together. Texture/ line quality/ images contributes to the unity of the project. Use of Media 10 pts Students are asked to mix media. Media should enhance artwork, texture, and unity of artwork.	Exceeding Media enhances artwork, texture, and strengthens the unity of the artwork. Exceeding Student turned in and produced a typed critique that was no less than 30 sentences. Critique reflected project, process, strengths in their work and areas where they could do better. Student fully participated in the critique giving a good balance of constructive criticism to their peers.	Fully Meeting Student did write a critique, had full attention to their peers and gave feedback. However, their critique did not show any real depth in fully evaluating their own work.
