Preparation	Poor Students worked together poorly, preparation was not quite done.	Fair Students worked together poorly. preparation was unorganized.	Good Students worked together with little or no problems. preparation was fairly organized.	Excellent Students prepared the presentation with no issues. Their presentation was clearly organized and easy to understand.
Pronunciation	Poor Students pronounced words incorrectly throughout their presentation.	Fair Students often pronounced words incorrectly. It was difficult to understand their presentation due to their incorrect pronunciation.	Good Students pronounced almost all words clearly. The mistakes made it a little difficult to understand the performance.	Excellent Students pronounced words correctly with only a few mistakes. The mistakes did not take away from the performance.
Grammar	Poor Students did not include any of the new grammar learned during this unit. Presentation was not on topic.	Fair Students used the grammar we discussed in this unit, however it was used incorrectly. Students' presentation was on topic.	Good Students used new grammar in their presentation. Grammar was used correctly.	Excellent Student used new grammar effectively and creatively. Students also included new vocabulary in their performance.
Fluency	Poor Student presented a below average demonstration of Chinese fluency. Student read their notes the whole time.	Fair Student presented an average demonstration of Chinese fluency. Student frequently had to use note cards.	Good Student presented an average demonstration of Chinese fluency. Student still had to use note cards for lines.	Excellent Student presented an above average performance. Student had few to no issues with fluency.
Effort and Attitude	Poor The students put little to no effort into the presentation and grade suffered because of attitude.	Fair The students could have done more with their presentation and/or was not showing enthusiasm during their performance for the class.	Good The students showed enthusiasm in front of the class but could have done more to contribute.	Excellent The students demonstrated their commitment to the performance. They put their full effort into this presentation.
Creativity	Poor The students presented little creativity in their skit.	Fair The students' presentation had some creative elements with room for improvement.	Good The students' presentation was creative with some areas that could be improved.	Excellent The students' work was highly creative and unique!
