Level 1

Very simple geometric shapes were used to create the tessellation. Minor inconsistencies can be observed.
Level 2

Some complex geometric shapes were used to create the tessellation, however, minor modifications were made in attempts tonn increase the complexity of the tessellation (has 4 – 5 sides).
Level 3

Each tile consists of 5 to 7 sides and are quite complex. Complexity of the shapes can be appricated by the observer.
Level 4

The tiles highly complex shapes(more than 7 sides). The tessellation demonstrates a high level of sophistication.
Accuracy

Level 1

The tiles vaguely resemble one another.
Level 2

The tiles resemble one another but clearly more of an effort could have been made to reduce the number of inconsistencies.
Level 3

Although minor inconsistencies can be seen, clearly a solid attempt was made to minimize inconsistencies.

Very difficult to see any inconsistencies among the tiles.
Neatness

Level 1

Shapes have many imperfections and there is little to no effect in the layout.

Shapes have some imperfections and there is some effort in the layout.
