	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Time	Poor Presentation is less than 2 minutes or over 5 minutes. Written notes on speech are incomplete and do not reflect the presentation.	Fair Presentation is withing the time frame allotted - 2-5 minutes. Written notes do not clearly reflect the oral presentation.	Good Within the time frame allotted 2 -5 minutes. Written copy of notes are clear and reflect oral presentation.
Content	Poor No specific points are made about the topic. Listeners are confused about the speakers point of view.	Fair 2 or more specific points or ideas about the topic are presented but are not completely developed in the speech. Listeners may not able to clearly identify the speakers point of view.	Good 2 or more points are made which support the speakers viewpoint. These points are developed and presented to the audience. Listener should be able identify the speakers point of view from the content of the speech.
Presentation	Poor Speaker does not speak clearly. Pace of speech is too fast for the audience to understand what the speaker is trying to say. Props are not used or inappropriate to the content.	Fair Presentation pace varies widely through speech. Speaker may not always be clearly understood. Props may not be fully appropriate to convey the message of the presentation.	Good Speaker speaks in an appropriate tone and pace that is clear to the audience. Props (visuals) are used that create interest and support the points that the speaker is trying to get across to the audience.
