Excelling Project is well built and has no errors. Student used care and patience in making the project so that it looks excellent. Student finished the project.
Pre-finish	Unsatisfactory Surfaces are rough, or incomplete. Little or no care given to smoothing the surfaces. Cutting marks present. Design intent not apparent.	Satisfactory Pre-finishing is average and shows some design intent. Surface has few rough spots and/or cross grain scratches. Selected edges are smooth.
