Participation	5 Excellent Student participates in all class activities all the time.	4 Good Student participates in most class activities all the time with few reminders.	3 Fair Student participates in class activities around 50% of the time and is in constant need of reminders to participate.	2 Poor Student rarely participates in class, and needs to be constantly reminded of the need to participate.
Engagement & Effort	5 Excellent Student was fully engaged and tries their best. Always on task and never needs reminding about anything.	4 Good Student is engaged and tries their best most of the time. Mostly on task and rarely needs reminding about anything.	3 Fair Student needs frequent reminders to remain engaged and to work to the best of their ability.	2 Poor Student constantly needs reminding to remain on task.
Cooperation/Respect/Safety	5 Excellent Student always respects teachers, other adults, and fellow classmates. Student always follows directions the first time given and obeys all safety rules.	4 Good Student had to be reminded once to respect others and/or follow directions safely.	3 Fair Student needed to be reminded to show respect to others twice in the class and or follow directions safely.	2 Poor Student needs to be reminded three times to show respect to others and/or follow directions safely during the class.
