Plays correct pitches	Poor Plays very few of the music pitches correctly. Chords are incorrect and or wrong	Fair Plays less than half of the music pitches correctly with adequate fingering choices.	Good Plays most all of the notes/chords pitches correctly with good fingering choices.	Excellent Plays all chords/pitches correctly with excellent fingering choices.
Tempo/rhythm	Poor Plays with no regard to the tempo of the song. No rhythmic sense. Tempo is very broken and there is no sense of time.	Fair Plays the selection with little awareness of rhythm. Tempo varies greatly or stops and starts and is probably unaware of this.	Good Plays almost all of the selection with good rhythmic sense. Tempo may vary slightly.
