Composer's Background 10 pts A detailed account of the composer's background.	Poor No information.	Fair 1-2 facts of composers background.	Good 3-4 facts of composers background.	Excellent 5 or more facts of composers background.
Unique characteristics 10 pts A detailed account of the composer's unique characteristics, including presentation of 2 of the composer's compositions	Poor No information.	Fair 1-2 unique characteristics given.	Good 3-4 unique characteristics given.	Excellent 5 or more unique characteristics given.
Period Information 10 pts A detailed account of the period from which the composer lived and wrote in and how it affected the composer and their work or visa versa.	Poor No information.	Fair 1-2 facts about the period with no connection to the composer and/or work.	Good 3-4 facts about the period with connection to the composer or their work.	Excellent 5 or more facts about the period with connection to the composer and their work.
