There is no tardiness.	Fair Student's has no more than three absences, but did not notify instructor of absences prior to class time. There is one tardiness.	Needs Improvement Student has more than three absences and made no attempt to contact instructor. Student struggles with getting to class on time.
Participation 15pts	Excellent Student participates and offers college level discussion and work on all activities. Student doesn't attempt to impede any other student's attempt to display his/her own level of effort and participation.	Strong Student frequently participates and offers college level discussion and work on all activities. Student doesn't attempt to impede any other student's attempt to display his/her own level of effort and participation.	Fair Student struggles to remain engaged in class discussion, but appears attentive. There is little attempt to participate.	Needs Improvement Student is minimally engaged in class discussion. If called upon, student is unresponsive. There is no attempt to participate.
