Order of Events Students will order the events and dialogue in sequential order based on the fable that was read. Thinking	Level 4 The student was able to provide the events and dialogue in sequential order based highly effectively, based on the fable that was read.	Level 3 The student was able to order the events and dialogue in sequential order based effectively, based on the fable that was read.	Level 2 The student was able to order the events and dialogue in sequential order based somewhat effectively, based on the fable that was read.	Level 1 The student was not able to order the events and dialogue in sequential order.
Dialogue Student can provide dialogue that characters will use in their play. Communication	Level 4 The student can provide highly effective dialogue that supports the plot of the fable and develops the characters with a high degree of effectiveness.	Level 3 The student can provide effective dialogue that supports the plot of the fable and develops the characters effectively.	Level 2 The student can provide dialogue that somewhat supports the plot of the story and develops the characters with some effectiveness. Some dialogue does not support or align with the fable.	Level 1 The student provides dialogue that does not support the plot of the story and develops the characters with limited effectiveness. Much of the dialogue does not support or align with the fable.
Script Structure Students will write a script with a narrators brief description to set the scene; characters name, colon, and characters dialogue. Application of knowledge	Level 4 The students uses conventions of script writing with a high degree of effectiveness. The student includes all script features, and uses great detail.	Level 3 The students uses conventions of script writing effectively. The student includes most script features, and uses detail.	Level 2 The students uses conventions of script writing with some degree of effectiveness. The student includes some script features but is lacking in detail.	Level 1 The students uses conventions of script writing with limited effectiveness. The student is missing many script features and the fable does not make sense.
