Read (Important Words)	Advanced Important words are underlined in both the word problem and the question.	Mastery Most important words are underlined in both the word problem and the question.	Basic Most important words are underlined in the word problem.	Approachig Basic Important words are not underlined and/or the wrong words are underlined.
Draw (Picture)	Advanced A picture is drawn illustrating the math problem correctly.	Mastery The picture is drawn, and somewhat illustrates the math problem correctly.	Basic The picture is drawn, but does not illustrate the math problem correctly.	Approachig Basic No picture is drawn.
Write (Number Sentence)	Advanced The math equation is written correctly including +,-,x, / and = sign.	Mastery The math equation is mostly written correctly.	Basic The math equation is somewhat written correctly.	Approachig Basic The math equation is not written.
Write (Answer)	Advanced The answer to the math equation is correct and labeled and the student explains answer in a complete sentence	Mastery The answer is correct, but not labeled. The student explains his/her work using complete sentences.	Basic The answer is wrong. he student's explanation does not correlate with his/her work.	Approachig Basic The answer is not present.The student did not explain his/her work.
