	Poor 10 pts	Fair 14 pts	Good 17 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Neatness in Sculpting Sharp edges are cleaned up, surface is smooth, the glaze is applied thick enough for a consistent high quality finish.	Poor Sculpting is uneven, messy and rough. Glaze is a mess.	Fair Sculpting has several uneven, messy and rough areas. spotty Glaze that does not cover all spots.	Good Sculpting has a few uneven, messy and rough areas. Glaze is decent	Excellent Sculpting is neatly done, smooth, and even. Glaze is done correctly with 3 coats.
Effort/rough model Sculpture is of high quality and you followed you drawing.	Poor Little effort; did not complete a drawing model of the symbol chosen for the sculpture.	Fair Some effort; drawing model looks incomplete or did not follow guidelines.	Good Good effort; used a completed drawing to complete the sculpture.	Excellent Exceptional effort. Used a detailed drawing to complete the sculpture.
Finished Sculpture Finished the sculpture appropriately by adding a date and initials on the bottom. Thoughtful about the glaze they used and its application. Fill out self assessment rubric.	Poor Did not add initials and year to bottom of sculpture or fill out rubric. Not in the size expectations.	Fair Only put initials on the bottom of sculpture or only filled out the rubric.
