	Unsatisfactory 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Attitude	Unsatisfactory Demonstrates a negative attitude and appears uninterested.	Developing Shows somewhat of a good attitude but doesn't appear to be interested.	Proficient Demonstrates a good attitude throughout most of the class.	Excellent Demonstrates a positive attitude throughout entire class.
Effort/Energy	Unsatisfactory The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed during the class.	Developing The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to committ to the class.	Proficient The dancer shows a good deal of effort and takes the class with energy and committment.	Excellent The dancer shows great effort and energy throughout entire class.
Dance Skills	Unsatisfactory Shows no attempt to take corrections given by teacher(s).	Developing Shows very little ability to apply immediate feedback when given a correction.	Proficient Demonstrates ability to improve technique by applying corrections immediately. Good line and posture.	Excellent Demonstrates great dance ability and technique; good allignment, properly stretched feet and legs.
Grades/Behavior	Unsatisfactory Scholar's transcript shows failing grades. Behavior grades are below average and attendance shows 20 or more days absent in a single school year.	Developing Scholar's transcript shows consistently low grades (C's and below). Attendance issues are evident. Behavior grades are below average.	Proficient Scholar's grades are average or above average with no history of behavior or attendance issues.	Excellent Excellent grades and behavior are demonstrated on transcript. Great attendance is evident.
