Maps and Routes

Students will watch and take the quiz at the end of the video. Students will participate in all three centers. (see lesson plans)

	Fair 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
Video and Quiz	Fair Student did not watch video. Student got over half the quiz incorrect.	Good Student watched the video, but was easily distracted. Did not do well on the quiz or just passing.	Excellent Student watched the video, and passed the quiz with only one error or less.
Center One	Fair Student did nor read or listen to partner reading the book. Student did not follow directions, peeled the orange in several pieces.	Good Student read he book, but did not attend when partner was reading. Student did not follow directions and their orange peel was less than 1/4 correct.	Excellent Student read and listened to partner read the book. Student followed direction getting at least 1/2 peeled correctly.
Center Two	Fair Student was disruptive in hallway and did not trace their route.	Good Student traced his route but did nor visit the locations that were assigned.	Excellent Student traced route to all of the locations as assigned.
Center Three	Fair Student did not help the group follow the directions, but signed the papers at each location.	Good Student was not following directions and wanted to go their own route. Did not sign the right papers.	Excellent Student worked as a team, followed directions and signed the paper at each location.
