Math/Critical Thinking Standard : Operations and Algebraic Thinking Use the four operations with whole numbers to solve problems Benchmark: Solve multistep word problems using the four operations and represent the problems using an equation with a letter standing for the unknown quantity Behavior: Will apply and adapt a variety of appropriate strategies to solve mathematical problems and construct and critiques viable arguments to support their reasoning.
