Use of Class Time/Effort	Excellent Used time well during each class period. Focused on getting the project done and never distracted others. The student used the appropriate amount of time for each project	Fair Used time well during each class period. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others; The student may have rushed or dragged out the completion of a project	Good Used some of the time well during each class period. Some time was wasted and the student occasionally distracted others. A more focused effort would have achieved better results	Poor Did not use class time to focus on the project OR often distracted others; It appears as if the student attempted to get projects finished quickly without regard for quality

Design Attractiveness	Excellent The design project is exceptionally attractive in terms of design, organization, focal point, rhythm, alignment, etc. The project displays creativity and uniqueness that sets it apart from others	Fair The design project is attractive in terms of design, layout and neatness and demonstrate an understanding of the use of design principles; However the design does not stand out	Good The design project is acceptably attractive though it may be a bit disorganized and does not demonstrate a clear understanding of design, organization, focal point, rhythm, alignment, etc.	Poor The design project is distractingly cluttered or devoid of necessary elements and very poorly designed. It is not attractive and is disorganized
