German Restaurant Skit

In groups, create a skit that takes place in Germany in a restaurant. Students must create a menu, use props which may include food to authenticate their script. Lines should be memorized.

Content	Prima All of the content requirements were met. Each student has a minimum of 4 lines.	Sehr gut Almost all (about 90%) of the content requirements were met. Almost all parts are equal.	Gut Most (about 75%) of the content requirements were met. One or two students carry the conversation.	Mangelhaft Many content requirements were not met.
Vocabulary	Prima Utilizes a wide variety of vocabulary from current and previously learned units. Takes risks and tries to expand length of sentences.	Sehr gut Utilizes a variety of vocabulary and sentences are rather short.	Gut Utilizes limited or minimal vocabulary expressions and sentences are short.	Mangelhaft Utilizes limited vocabulary, some of which is inaccurate or irrelevant to the task.
Pronunciation	Prima Perfect or nearly perfect German pronunciation.	Sehr gut Good German pronunciation, but a few words are mispronounced.	Gut Several German words are mispronounced.	Mangelhaft More than half of German words are mispronounced.
Speaking Clarity & Fluency	Prima Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with no unnatural pauses or distractions.	Sehr gut Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with no more than one unnatural pause or distraction.	Gut Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time with no more than one unnatural pause or distraction. Most lines were not memorized taking away from the authencity of the skit.	Mangelhaft Often mumbles and cannot be understood OR has multiple distractions and unnatural pauses. NO lines were memorized making the script seem unreal.
Preparedness	Prima Group is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed. All lines were memorized which added to the authenticity of the script.	Sehr gut Group seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals. Most lines were memorized which added to the authencity of the script.	Gut The group is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking. Most lines were memorized which added to the authencity of the script.	Mangelhaft Group does not seem at all prepared to present. Most lines were memorized which added to the authencity of the script.
Use of Time	Prima Students used class time wisely and was on task.	Sehr gut Student was on task most of the time but needed to be redirected.	Gut Student was frequently off task during class.	Mangelhaft Student was not on task during class.
