E-Mail Messages and Letters Grading Rubric
Students were asked to choose one task among three provided wherein they write e-mail messages or letters. Each task involved the same scenario but addresses two different audiences. In the process of writing their messages, students will need to think about audience, purpose, and language use. They will determine whether Internet abbreviations are appropriate, and if so, which abbreviations are appropriate.
