Novice No strategy is used or the strategy used does not convey a correct understanding of the concepts and information necessary for its solution.
Reasonableness	Expert The student checks their work, uses effective and complex reasoning to determine if their answer is reasonable, and gives a valid explanation as to why it makes sense.	Apprentice The student checks their work but by not providing an appropriate explanation as to why their answer makes sense, does display effective and complex reasoning .	Novice The student did not check their work or use effective and complex reasoning to determine if their answer is reasonable.
