There are a few places where the speech becomes difficult to understand. There may be some places where speed is a problem.
Inadequate

Overall, the tempo of the speech and/or the loudness or softness of the voice makes it difficult to understand what is being said in the presentation.

Exemplary

All class time was utilized wisely. Student was focused and on task. There are few, if any, mistakes in grammar or spelling throughout the presentation.

Most of class time was utilized effectively. Student was somewhat focused and on task. There are 5 to 6 errors in grammar and spelling.
Acceptable

The student used class time, but was occasionally not on task. Student did work on the task, but wasn't completely focused in class. There are more than 7 errors in grammar and spelling.
Inadequate

Student did not use class time and was frequently unfocused and off task. Very little of the project was completed during class time. There are numerous errors in grammar and spelling.
Content

The folktale was portrayed very well. The presentation was well-rehearsed so that the telling of the folktale could be done in a fluid manner.
Above Average

The folktale flowed and the presentation showed rehearsal.
Acceptable

There were some places where the story was forgotten, or where the folktale didn't make sense.
Inadequate

It does not appear that much time was spent in preparing the folktale to make it ready for the classroom presentation.
