Backhand / Handshake Grip

Handshake grip on the racket - racket head is perpendicular to the ground

Student independently demonstrates the correct mechanics of the grip

Student uses the correct mechanics of the forehand grip in one serve

Shuttle Trajectory Long

Shuttle travels long and to the back of the court - shuttle lands in diagonal court- shuttle lands in bounds

Shuttle trajectory is accurate in all three serves
Meets Expectations

Shuttle trajectory is accurate in two of the three serves

OR

Student demonstrates understanding of the shuttle trajectory through independent modeling of the two key points

Shuttle trajectory is accurate in one of the three serves
