The student displays proper concert etiquette by being respectful and quiet during the dress rehearsal and performance.

The student displays good concert etiquette. The student may talk or goof off but it does not detract from the task at hand.

The student displays decent concert etiquette. The student behavior is disruptive to the task at hand.

The student displays poor concert etiquette by talking and being disrespectful. The behavior is very disruptive to the task at hand.
Posture - 25 Points

25-21 Points

The student plays with excellent posture throughout the entire performance.
20-16 Points

The student plays with good posture during the performance. The student may slouch in between songs but is back to sitting with good posture when it is time to play.
15-11 Points

The student plays with decent posture during the performance. The student spends little time sitting with proper posture and spends most of the performance slouching.
10-5 Points

The student plays with poor posture. The student spend no time sitting up straight.
Accuracy/Preparedness - 25 Points

25-21 Points

The student plays notes and chords with excellent accuracy. It is obvious that the student is prepared.
20-16 Points

The student plays with good accuracy. The student may play a wrong note, chord, or lose her place, but it is not noticeable and the students gets right back to playing everything correctly. It is obvious that the student is prepared.
15-11 Points

The student plays with decent accuracy. Several notes or chords are missed or the student loses her place in the music. It is obvious that the student is not as prepared as she should be.
10-5 Points

The student plays with poor accuracy. It is obvious that the student has hardly spend any time preparing for the performance. Countless notes or chords are missed or the student loses her place without recovery.
Following the Director - 25 Points

25-21 Points

The student follows the director perfectly by playing at the correct tempo and following any cues that are given.
20-16 Points

The student does a good job of following the director. The student may play at the wrong tempo for a second or miss an entrance or other cue, but quickly recovers.
15-11 Points

The student does a decent job of watching the director. The student have trouble playing at the right tempo and following the cues that are given.
10-5 Points

The student does a poor job of following the director. The student greatly struggles with playing at the right tempo and following the cues that are given.

25-21 Points

The student thoroughly fills out the reflection and answers with five sentences or more per question.
20-16 Points

The student does a good job of filling out the reflection. Some answers are vague or less than 5 sentences.

The student does a decent job of filling out the reflection. The student gives vague answers, most of which are less than 5 sentences.

The student does a poor job filling out the reflection. One word or sentence answers are given.
