Research Project

Students task is to research and develop a important person of significant interest in the leading up to Australian Federation. At the end of their research students are to present to the class their presentation explaining what they discovered in their research and what impact it had on Australia.

Information	Mimimal Student had almost no information and neglected to complete final presentation.	Partial Student's research included related information about topic but wasn't constructed well.	Good Student's reserach was missing one component about the historical topic/subject.	Excellent Student's research was detailed and focused and informnation was presented at a high level.
Comprehension/Content	Mimimal Student seemed to not fully understand the content they researched.	Partial Student had some understanding of the content in their project.	Good Student understood their research and most areas of presentation were covered.	Excellent Student understood and felt completely comfortable with the information in their presentation.
Grammar/Mechanics	Mimimal Their presentation is full of spelling and grammatical errors.	Partial There are several spelling and grammatical errors and the reader is distracted by the errors.	Good The presention has a few spelling and grammatical errors that do not distract the reader.	Excellent The presentation is free from spelling and grammatical errors, and is written in a clear and concise manner.
Work Quality and Effort	Mimimal Work is done with little effort, the quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product.	Partial The work done displays a fair effort, but the quality does not fully show the learners capabilities. Reasonable to limited effort was put into this project.	Good The effort that was put into this project is admirable.The work done demonstrates what the learner is capable of.
