Modified Contour Hands Drawing 
Draw in contour at least two hands in an expressive position. Cross contour lines then should be added to express the form of the hands. Give little or no attention to value. Pay attention to the accuracy of your drawing with correct proportions.

Some care was taken in observing the hands but some proportions are not correct. The student's drawing is mostly accurate with a few areas that need improvement. There are some elements of symbolic drawing.
Excellent 86-100

Much care was taken in observing the hands and proportions are drawn correctly. The student's drawing is very accurate with little need for improvement.
Craftsmanship/ Finish

Poor 0-70

Media is used sloppily or incorrectly, drawing is unfinished or appears messy and needs attention. Presentation has not been considered.
Fair 71-85

Media is used fairly well but could be improved or cleaned up. Some areas of the drawing may need further attention and very little consideration has been given to presentation or alternatives.
Excellent 86-100

Media is used carefully and skillfully, paper is chosen for its size and quality and the drawing is completely finished. Consideration has been given to presentation and alternatives such as cropping.
Composition

Poor 0-70

The work is incomplete, too small, or little evidence of care.
Fair 71-85

The work lacks some consideration of space, orientation, or placement.
Excellent 86-100

Placement, space, orientation, and other design principles are carefully considered.
