Electric Wiring Test

Grade for wiring a light, two 3-way switches and a GFCI receptacle. All devices are on one 15 amp circuit.

Wire sheathed at proper length Sheathed at minimum of 6" and maximum of 8".	Unsatisfactory Less than 3 inches or less or greater than 10".	Substandard Length is 3-5 inches.	Average Length is 5-5.5 inches or 8 to 10 inches.	Above Average Length is 6-8 inches.	Excellent All wire to 6-8" and only 1/4" of jacket in box.
Wire Insulation free from nicks which exposes wire.	Unsatisfactory More than three wires nicked.	Substandard 3 wires nicked.	Average 2 wires nicked.	Above Average 1 wire nicked.	Excellent No wires nicked.
GFCI wiring Line / Load wiring for protection	Unsatisfactory Ground not connected.	Substandard Any of the wires hooked to the wrong terminal.	Average All wires hooked to correct terminals with little guidance needed.	Above Average All wires hooked to the correct terminals.	Excellent All wires hooked to correct terminals and insulation stripped to minimum.
3-way Switch wiring If not wired properly it won't work.	Unsatisfactory Needed too much help to get it wired properly so light worked.	Substandard Extra guidance needed or extra suggestions needed.
