Class Participation
	Outstanding 2 pts	Satisfactory 1 pts	Unsatisfactory 0 pts
Prepared for Class	Outstanding Student has all materials needed for class, is on time, and ready to go when the bell rings.	Satisfactory Student has at least half materials needed for class and is on time.	Unsatisfactory Student has less than half of the materials needed for class, and/or is late without a excused pass, or late returning from lunch.
Attending to Lesson	Outstanding Student is focused on instruction, taking notes, and participating in class discussion	Satisfactory Student is focused on instruction most of the time, attempts to take notes, participates in class discussion, but needs redirection once or twice.	Unsatisfactory Student is not focused on instruction, does not attempt to take notes, or is texting/playing games/listening to music.
Engaged in Activities	Outstanding Student is aware of when it is her/his turn, follows directions the first time, and remains focused on the game/activity.	Satisfactory Student participates in the game/activity, but has side conversations, needs directions repeated or has to be redirected.	Unsatisfactory Student does not participate in game/activity, has side conversations, or distracts others during game/activity.
