Word Study for week 4/26 
The students were given a list of vocabulary words. The class went over the definitions to make sure everyone knew what the words meant. The students wrote the words and definitions. The students constructed sentences that used the words correctly. After writing the sentences, the students were to use all ten vocabulary words in a focused narrative writing piece. The student's name should be at the top before giving it to the teacher. The words in the sentences and narrative should be underlined.

Exceeds

Student's name is at the top of the paper. A title is given. At least nine of the ten vocabulary words are used correctly in complete sentences in the narrative. Spelling, punctuation and grammar are almost perfect.
