Eye Contact	Poor Little eye contact Heavy use of notes Not consistent through speech	Good Frequent use of notes Some direct eye contact throughout speech	Excellent Little or no use of notes Frequent direct eye contact with audience
Gestures	Poor Only a few attempts Forced or awkward Hands in pockets or sleeves pulled way down	Good Some inconsistent use, but obvious attempts	Excellent Key places in the speech Used for obvious emphasis of a point
