Jump Rope Routine 2026

Students will be completing a jump rope routine in solo using a short rope. Routines will be graded based on jump rope skills, memorization, transition/flow plus on task behavior and cooperation/teamwork in the creation of the routine. Standards 19B & 21B

Transition and Flow Routine order flows from one to the next without interruptions.	Exceeds Routine had minor to flawless transitions where jumpers went from one skill to the next without any interruptions to the flow of the performance.	Meets Routine had MINOR transition issues that caused slight interruptions to the overall flow of the performance.	Approaching Routine had CONSIDERABLE transition issues that caused obvious interruptions to the overall flow of the performance.	Does Not Meet Routine had MAJOR transition issues that caused significant interruptions to the overall flow of the performance.
Performance Routine has a clear beginning, middle, and end, including a final pose.	Exceeds Clear beginning, middle, and end plus has a final pose to conclude the routine.	Meets Clear beginning and middle, and may not have ended with a final pose to conclude the routine.	Approaching Clear beginning, but the middle and end of the routine were confusing plus hard to detect.	Does Not Meet No clear beginning, middle or end of the routine.
Memorization Routine is memorized and well rehearsed/practiced.	Exceeds The entire routine was memorized and well rehearsed. All group members knew the order of the routine.	Meets Most of the routine was memorized with 3-4 of the group members knew the order of the routine.	Approaching Some of the routine was memorized with 2-3 of the group members knew the order of the routine.	Does Not Meet None of the routine was memorized with 1-2 of the group members knew the order of the routine.
Cooperation/Teamwork During creation and practice of the routine.	Exceeds All performers worked together and created a routine which reflected their cooperation and hard work.
