Speed	Excellent Story is read fluently with appropriate pauses	Good Story is read too fast (with no regards to punctuation) or too slow.	Fair Pupil reads story slowly and with some difficulty.	Poor Student reads slower than normal speech. Many pauses and difficulty when reading.
Fluency	Excellent Reads at an appropriate speed. No lapses, hesitation or wavering in the pace. Punctuation pauses are present	Good Reads at an appropriate speed. Few lapses, hesitation or wavering. Punctuation pauses are generally used. (2-4 errors)	Fair Reads at an appropriate speed most of the time. Some lapses, hesitation or wavering. Punctuation pauses are seldomly respected.
