Understanding Matter	Poor Responses and examples do not relate to matter and do not demonstrate understanding.	Fair Responses and examples are somewhat connected to the understanding of matter and can be explained a bit further.	Good Examples and responses show full understanding of what matter is.
Physical Properties	Poor Object is not described well and does not show the physical property.	Fair Object can be described or thought of more thoroughly to reflect understanding of physical properties.	Good Object is fully described and its physical properties are well kept in mind.
