Observational	Poor Did not attempt to draw what he/she saw.	Fair Attempted to draw what he/she saw.	Good Student accurately drew what he/she saw.
Value and Shape	Poor Little value was added.	Fair An attempt at highlighting was made but was messy or more highlighting needed.	Good Highlighted and shading was done correctly and neatly using highlighting techniques.
Texture	Poor Did not apply shading.	Fair An attempt at shading was made but was messy or more shading needed.	Good Shaded neatly using multiple shading techniques.
Craftsmanship	Poor Eraser marks appear along the finished drawing along with wrinkles or tear	Fair The work is mostly clean, a few marks are visible on the finished drawing.	Good The finished drawing is clean, neat, and doesn't contain any marks.
Time/Effort	Poor Did not stay on task and use time in class wisely. The finished drawing could have used more time.	Fair Had some problems with staying on task and using time in class wisely.
