Inferencing Orally
Students will infer (using their background knowledge and specific clues from the scene what has taken place in the classroom. This will be assessed through the students ability to use the inferring equation BK+C=I (Background Knowledge + Clues = Inference). Students create two columns in their journal - Clues and Meaning. They will then write a paragraph about what they "infer" took place in the classroom.
