Electrical Wiring 2 - PBA

Students construct an electrical circuit using different raceways. They will use non-metallic sheathed cable, metallic-clad cable, and EMT (pipe) being sure to follow all applicable NEC regulations.

Staying on Task	Poor Student(s) were reminded too many times to focus or to stay in their own work area.	Fair Students had to be reminded several times to remain in their work area and / or work on the task-at-hand.	Good Student(s) basically remained focused...needed very little guidance or reminders.	Excellent Student(s) were an example to others on staying focused and working on their own project.
NEC	Poor The NEC was not referenced or used. Many code violations.	Fair Few code violations. An inspector would pass the installation, but with a few discrepancies.	Good No code violations.	Excellent Installation went above the NEC rules and regulations.
Tool Selection / Use	Poor Hand or power tools were not selected and used improperly or unsafely.	Fair Proper tools were selected.	Good Proper tool selection and tools were safely used.	Excellent Tools were properly and safely used. Other classmates were encouraged or taught to do the same.
Safety	Poor Several shop safety violations were evident.	Fair Safety rules were followed.	Good Safety rules were followed and others were encouraged to be safe.	Excellent Safety was obviously the most important part of the job at hand - other classmates were encouraged to create a safety culture.
Wiring Diagram	Poor No wiring diagram.	Fair Wiring diagram had many errors and would be hard to follow.	Good Wiring diagram was complete and all wires were properly run.	Excellent Wiring diagram complete, neat, and wires were accurately labeled.
