Understanding 20 % Values- mixing of tints and shades	Highly Proficient It is clear that student was able to accurately mix all tints and shades of the chosen color and accurately place the values in the image	Proficient It is clear that student was able to accutly mix most of the values and accurately place the values in the image	Met Criteria It is evident that the student had trouble mixing consistent and accurate values throughtout the work and the placement of these values are haphazard. grid drawing 20 % Overall accuracy of grid enlargement and blocking of values using contour lines	Highly Proficient Superior competence and excelled. The grid was accurate and the image enlargement was excellent. The contour lines used to break up the different values were accurate and helped to create the form of the object.	Proficient Strong competence. The grid was mostly accurate and the image enlargement was carefully done. The contour lines used to break up the different values were accurate and helped to create the form of the object.	Met Criteria Decent competence and some accuracy with the grid. Most of the lines were accurate and contour lines were attempted when breaking up the image.	Below Standard Limited understanding of how to use a grid in order to create an accurate drawing. The image was not broken up accurately and therefore caused some distortion of the object.
Color Scheme 20 % Color scheme was used in this artwork to create a cohesive work.	Highly Proficient Excellent and advance color scheme. Student has demonstrated a superior knowledge of color schemems and challenged themselves by mixing color as well.	Proficient Good color scheme choice. It is evident that the student understands the role of a scheme in artwork to help colors work cohesively.	Met Criteria Decent color scheme choice. It is still an accurate color scheme although no real care was taken to create the "best" type of color for the work. All colors are straight from the bottle.	Below Standard Not an accurate color scheme choice. No evidence of knowledge of color schemes.
