Novel Marketing

You are faced with marketing your latest project to maximize revenue for you and your investors. You must create a movie trailer that draws viewers to your film. The original story was written by a famous author you want to promote and features blockbuster actors that will draw views to the theaters. The completed trailer will be previewed for your investors prior to release for approval.

Shot Framing and Composition	I'll check out the book. Poor/Omitted	Netflix...(Maybe I'll rent movie) Shots do not add to trailer and are weak. Majority of shots not framed. Clips do not contain relevant material from the movie. Does not coincide with writing, or VO.	I want to read the reviews first. Shots are framed appropriately for the most part, with a few missteps here and there. Most shots are short and relevant to trailer, some may be a bit lengthy.	I have to see this movie! Manages to convey events of text, but not terribly convincingly	I want to read the reviews first. Intermediate-Advanced:<BR> Most actors are on cue; lines memorized and effective display of emotion that remains true to text.	I have to see this movie! Advanced: Actors very believable. All lines memorized and given w/ thorough, accurate emotion that brings the text to life. Bravo!
Content	I'll check out the book. Content weak; facts inaccurate. Client members have difficulty hearing; Lots of mumbling. Mix of music and dialog appear to have not been attempted.	I want to read the reviews first. Student’s voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear w/ little effort. Mix of music and dialog are good, but music too loud at times.	I have to see this movie! Student uses clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms. Student is enthusiastic. All viewing audience can hear w/o effort. Mix of dialog and music well done.
